Hello, my name is Caleb. I live in Seattle and work for a large technology and management consulting company. I’ve created this blog to share with the public my journey in search of wisdom.  I believe that the beginning of wisdom is the fear of God, and thus you’ll find that God and Christ permeate my writings, though I plan on writing on a variety of life topics which may not be overtly religious.  Some of the topics that I’ll write about are: Business, Technology, Personal Development, Investment, Work, Church, Leadership, Community Development, and Culture.

Where does the name “Wiselad” come from?  I first thought of the name when pondering what my personality was like when I was a kid.  There were three qualities that stood out to me that I think have faded as I’ve grown older: curiosity, playfulness, and courage.  I then thought that the adult life should also have these three qualities in abundance, but with wisdom.  And thus came the name wiselad.  And so it is my aim to live the “wiselad” life with all the curiosity, playfulness, and courage that I can muster under God.
